I worked with Agustin for 2 years. Year 1 I was his Engineering Manager, year 2 I was the product manager on his team. Simply put, if you're considering it, you should hire Agustin. In 2 years, he delivered EXCELLENT quality work, on time, without issue, and was a joy to collaborate with. He was initially hired as a front end engineer, with no experience with Ruby on Rails. Within a couple of months, he learned rails, and was then building fullstack features. We never met in person, and he was 3 or 4 hours of time difference apart, but he was one of the most productive engineers at my company. If you are a company with reservations about hiring internationally, I cannot recommend Agustin highly enough. He is truly an A+ engineer. I will miss not working with Agustin, and I strongly hope to get to work with him in the future.
