Agustín is a fantastic team mate and collaborator. We worked together on a six-month artistic research project to deliver field work that included field recordings in high streets, rice fields, and lakes in rural Japan and oral history recordings with women migrants to Japan, followed by a period of studio production of unique compositions that blended the field recordings to suggest the sensory significance of places as well as a six channel audio installed in the gallery space. Throughout the project Agustín was organised, sensitive to the needs of research participants and Tokyo gallery staff, and a creative problem solver for all aspects of this multi-faceted project.
