Lisa M. Boone - Reddick LBR365 Consulting Services 7101 Bryant Irvin Road #16155 Fort Worth, Texas 76162 October 10, 2022 To whom it may concern: I am pleased to write an employment recommendation for Amarely Gutierrez. I had the pleasure of working with Amarely for 2 years at The Shelter for Abused Women & Children. In my role as Director of Programs, Amarely filled many essential roles on my team. As a victim advocate, project leader, and support team member we continually collaborated and worked together on team building opportunities projects, training presentations and workgroups. Amarely is professional, innovative, energetic, organized, and conscientious. With extensive experience and knowledge from which to draw Amarely always had ideas for engaging activities and thought-provoking discussions. A valued contributor, she was successful working independently and as part of a team. Amarely is kind, thoughtful and generous with her time. She always takes time to think, process and discuss the best way to approach a challenge or a project. She listens well and summarizes ideas into action steps. Amarely is dependable and always follows through on her commitments and promises. Amarely provided excellent leadership as a Victims Advocate. Sharing tools and resources to empower the victims, Amarely shared tools, resources and skillsets that prepared victims to achieve desired accomplishments. I would welcome the opportunity to work with Amarely again. She is insightful, forward thinking and synergistic. Her knowledge and style of leadership has influenced how I lead, encourage and strengthen those around me. Feel free to contact me with questions or any needed clarifications. Sincerely, Lisa M. I am writing you this letter with regard to my friend and former co-worker Amarely Gutierrez. I have been friends with Amarely for the over two decades. We met as undergraduates at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts where we were involved in many campus organizations and clubs. We even joined the same sorority and served on its executive board. In 2002, Amarely moved to Florida to teach through Catholic Volunteers in Florida and Americorps. I was truly inspired by her desire to be of service to the South Florida community where she taught. I was so inspired that I joined her in 2003 to teach at St. Mary Cathedral School in Miami, FL. Amarely taught her fourth great class with such precision that one would think that she had been a veteran teacher. Her classroom management, assessments and accountability were stellar; I attribute much of that to her background in psychology. Her students, even the ones that others before had given up on, were confident and self sufficient. She was the kind of teacher who could step out of her classroom to have a chat with a parent and not have to worry about her students doing the right thing. Upon entering her classroom her students always seemed attentive, engaged and clearly understood what their learning objectives were. She was truly an effective teacher. I would recommend Amarely without reservation for a position in your organization. She is a team player; she take initiative; she is wonderful with children; she is intelligent; she has a great deal of common sense and she is empathetic to the human condition. If you need to contact me with any questions, I can be reached at (781)724-2339.
