Once you get the chance to work with Agnes you usually end up wondering how in the heck your team was ever able to function without her. Agnes is someone who's presence on a team makes all the difference - she is a brilliant leader, an innovator, a ruthlessly hard worker, but also an exceptional team player. She is someone that is never satisfied with the status quo - she has an eye for constantly improving everything around her. That drive, paired with her ingenuity, results in her leaving every team she joined better, stronger, and more effective. Getting the opportunity to work with Agnes at the United Nations was an absolute joy as well as a tremendous learning experience. Agnes tackles every project with inventiveness and manages to come up with brilliant solutions to issues that many never even thought to confront. From her very first weeks at the UN she managed to completely streamline and transform one of the core application processes of our department, saving our entire team an incalculable amount of time and resources. During our time at the Department of Global Communications I also witnessed Agnes pivot from project to project and juggle multiple competing timelines with ease, efficacy and creativity. From maximizing engagement on social media channels, to revolutionizing our department's email campaigns, to building exceptionally well-researched articles and reports, her ability to liaison effectively across teams and projects in order to successfully navigate tight deadlines and nuanced objectives is unparalleled. You'll also find that, somehow, when Agnes isn't too busy being the shining star of your team, she still manages to find the time to be an exceptional team player. She will go above and beyond in training new team members, offering her help on projects outside of her realm of responsibilities, and imparting her myriad of skills on others, because that's just what she does - make teams better. The next team that gets the opportunity to work with her will be lucky enough to see firsthand exactly what I mean.
