      During this industrial training internship experience, I gained insight and knowledge on how electricity is generated and transmitted to our homes from a thermal power plant. I learned how a thermal power plant is operated and maintained on a daily basis and also the various sub-systems that constitute a thermal power plant such as the Boiler department, Coal and Fly ash department, main plant operation and maintenance, etc. This was indeed a fantastic experience working and observing engineers on a daily basis and also how a plant of this capacity is operated.
