-remaining up to date with the latest publications and filling all the documentation requirements concerning the programme (e-mail, application and inside and outside workshop documents, procedures and declarations)-ensuring that all the info concerning any of the IBO decisions and publications is well-known to all the teaching staff members-establishing and completing a record and archive of all completed planners-creating and publishing the school’s programme of inquiry-leading and reviewing the school’s scope and sequence documents (curriculums , syllabi, procedures and policies)-ensuring that agreements are formulated for assessment and for teaching and learning language-participating in the formation of of the school’s strategic development plan-creation of any missing or required school documents and revising the old ones in order for those to meet all the IBO requirements• Professional Development:-ensuring that staff members are made aware of professional development opportunities -making recommendations regarding professional opportunities in and out of school-assist teams and individuals in developing and documenting student inquiries-supervising and supporting the teachers responsible for, and the students involved in, the PYP exhibition in the final year of the programme (5th Grade) - organizing and sending staff to PYP workshops - inviting PYP trainers into your school.- sharing, with other PYP schools, successful planners, unit banks, videos and books, examples of good PYP practice and expertise, with visits being made to schools which have a reputation for good teaching- Leading, managing and supporting staff on a day to day basis - ensuring school policies and procedures are implemented- providing time when teachers can plan and reflect together(weekly collaborative meeting, monthly grade level cohorts, weekly 1on1 meetings)
