      As a Creative Visualiser / Writer my role was to simplify and interestingly convey the brand identity with words, an image or maybe even a blank page. Let’s suppose the client wants to say that his product “smells the best”. As a creative writer would put it, “It smells like the earth after the first rain” or a can of glue or whatever that might tickle his fancy. As a writer, it was my duty to give the product a bit of personality, so that it shapes people's attitudes towards the product. Always keeping the focus on how people think, feel and act after seeing the Ad copy or the commercial. From creative visualisation and script writing of corporate ads to Social Media ideas to studio projects to Viral commercials, I did it all during my internship period with Campus Times Media.       Homegrown was my first ever remote outreach program and owing to the pandemic, it functioned the exact opposite of what the word "outreach" stands for. I was appointed as the University's Outreach representative for the 7-day CASA BACARDI event, which took place in the month of March. My role here was divided into two parts: getting the word out to people who aren't aware of the event and promoting it. Getting people to attend one online event and five offline ones. Thankfully, I was able to get a fair attendance for the event thanks to a strong personal network of artists and creators I have because of CRIO. Despite the fact that there was little opportunity for learning owing to the pandemic, it was a great experience and kudos to the team for helping me in the early days. Show less

      Commitment, leadership and mental & physical devotion are the core factors needed to manage any event. Irrespective of the scale of the event, the mental and physical hard work that is to be put in, differs by only a negligible degree of difference. With a great interest in the entertainment business, I've always wanted to produce events with the biggest stars in music. It wasn't until my freshman year of college that I was given the opportunity to throw a Halloween party at a newly opened club. Despite having no prior event management experience or knowledge, I was able to not only host and develop a team of six individuals in three days, but also to attract 500 people to my first event. Since then, my team and I have staged several events in Pune, working with prominent personalities from the Pune music scene such as GULLY GANG (Promotional Partners), DJ BASSHUNK, DJ MARIA, DJ PAUL and others in a span of 6 months. Due to the pandemic, we had to return to our hometown, putting an end to our operations. Sooner or later, we plan on coming back and taking over the scene once again! Show less

      Red Chillies Entertainment was a wonderful experience for me. I did an internship under DOP Tanay Satam on a Netflix Original Production titled "BETAL," India's first horror series created by Red Chillies Entertainment. As one of the top leaders in Indian cinema, Red Chillies has succeeded to maintain its standards and adhere to its values of offering a well-rounded experience for both viewers and employees. From the first day itself, the members of my department had proven to be helpful and patient. I quickly became used to the routines, explored other operations and interacted with people from other departments. The crew were so kind, each one of them mentored me and did not make me feel like an intern for even a moment. Senior crew members even shared their experiences, learnings and troubles while on the field and never turned down any question I asked out of curiosity. The 1st AD was also generous enough to take time out of his schedule and teach me screenplay rehearsal and allowed me to work as Clap AD/Runner in the latter days of the shoot. As a newcomer, I not only acquired hard skills on the set of Betal, but I also learned a lot about life in general by working with a Big production house and industry professionals. I have discovered the skill of maintaining a healthy work-private life balance as sometimes the hectic schedule can get to you. I've also learned that it requires passion and dedication, as well as bringing your A-game every step of the way, to succeed in this industry. Show less
