Jamshed Zaman
For some years I am, Jamshed uz Zaman, involved in teaching at Jahangirnagar, BRAC and North South University as an adjunct professor. I teach mainly international business considering my wide experience in the central bank of the country - Bangladesh Bank, where I was finally an Executive Director, and my involvement in the International Monetary Fund. While teaching, I am attracted by Afiqul Islam, a brilliant student of International Business. This is a mandatory course in the MBA program in North South University - a leading Business School in Bangladesh. He received A in the course and was top-performer among predominantly populated with students from the banking sector and experienced in a job position where international business was involved. What really impressed me about Afiqul is how he present and explain things in a simpler way. Afiqul's willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities is something to be desired in any professional position. The combination of technical skills and managing skills will make any organization to strive better. The leadership abilities that I perceived from Afiqul coupled with his unmatched analytical and critical thinking skills will surely make Afiqul a great asset to any organization.
