I worked in a project of Urban Economic Infrastructure as a researcher. In that I compiled two projects -a) Physically Disabled People b) Economically Disabled ( Street Vendors). I with my team surveyed the areas of North Delhi zone and found there is no tactile paths, ramps, lifts in most of the places and due to this the physically disabled people have to suffer. Next we interviewed 105 vendors spanning over 7 market coming within the jurisdiction of NDMC. There we found most of the vendors have to pay bribes and no one were having knowledge about the vending license. Moreover there is no awareness program being conducted by the TVC. We made the reports which we sent to Delhi government and NDMC. Show less
