I designed a replica cement plant with process improvements and equipment upgrades that would make the plant more cost efficient and environmentally friendly using a modelling and simulation software called Stella Architect. I also analyzed process data to solve root causes to equipment and process failures by using a statistical computing program called RStudio and excel functions such as Pivot Tables, Histograms, and Macros. My other duties also included conducting weekly safety analysis of the plant ensuring safety guards of different machinery and equipment were working, checked if workers were following the correct safety protocols and documented anything found to be hazardous or potentially dangerous.

I investigated customer complaints and implemented changes to the manufacturing process to fix and improve car seat cushions so that they were more durable and met customer standards. I assisted managers and engineers maintain the plant by reporting problems observed from analyzing and testing machine performance and product quality. I also worked with process and quality engineers to optimize the manufacturing process by designing new assembly line components that increased the production efficiency of the car seat cushions while following SOP and GMP guidelines.

As a Laboratory Assistant, I conducted lab tests on soil aggregates used by construction companies to ensure they were using the correct materials for building safe and durable infrastructures . On a daily basis, I maintained cleanliness of the lab by washing and organizing lab equipment.
