• 2019-2020 - Pre-K Assistant/ Substitute Lead Teacher (15 students) Worked directly with Pre-K Teacher as mentor. Class Created and implemented lesson plans to integrate new teaching methods. • 2016-2018 - Substitute and Work/Study program Substitute in all classes (Pre-3 though Pre-K) to better understand all classroom dynamics and teaching styles. Went back to school through community trade school where volunteer work hours were required in different age groups. Worked with 4's class teacher being and pre-school director as my mentors. • 2015 - Lead Pre-3 teacher with 10 Students created lesson plans, daily half-day schedule, calendars, and monthly newsletter for parents/caregivers. Collaborated with peer teachers to build lessons that would bridge learning throughout the pre-school program (through Pre-K). Guided teacher's aide to build a conducive work environment for the classroom and students. Evaluated environment of the classroom continuously to adjust. Introduced Shutterfly and Facebook pages to the school program to help parents/caregivers stay better connected as a community and to their students in the classroom. Connected and managed the preschool program’s Scholastic book club to bring new books into the school and encourage reading at home. Reached out to community businesses/programs to have them volunteer at preschool; i.e. dentist to educate on oral health and hygiene, firefighters, postal workers, etc. • 2014 - Volunteered and Substituted as a TA in Pre-3 Classroom.
