Adrien and I started at Perfectly Posh on exactly the same day, so we immediately had a type of sibling rivalry from day one which was one of the best parts of working with him in the Product Development department. He always offered amazing support in all of the projects we managed, be they little or large; from a promotional product right up to a full catalog launch. Adrien was tasked with compiling and analyzing all of the data on products we launched to assist in our forecasts and planning categorical strategies. In this, he excelled and always went above and beyond to not just offer us numbers, but a full review of the patterns he saw and what he could discern in them that would affect future projects. When he wasn't working on our launches, he was elbow deep in the latest trend forecasts and collecting data that would ultimately affect the direction a catalog or product was going in. His reports were very accurate and I could always trust that it would jive with what was currently trending in the industry. He also had his hand in dabbling with product development by testing every single sample we received (hundreds every quarter), heading all of our samples surveys, and developing some of Posh's mens products. The most important support he could offer though, wasn't in his career skills (although he had that in spades), but in his ability to work side by side with the team and wholeheartedly offer his services for any task, even applying stickers to hundreds of bottles of sea salt spray. Any team would be lucky to have him.

Adrien brings a lot of skills to the table, and while I didn't manage Adrien directly, he played a critical role in keeping everything we worked on marching towards a common goal. Adrien like to keeps work fun--and I'm sure it's a natural extension of his personality. Extroverted, and outgoing, Adrien kept the group laughing while making short work of a variety of tedious tasks. But beyond the tedious tasks, Adrien is also an excellent writer and has the rare ability to write with a corporate voice or style that is uniquely tailored to our consumer base. Adrien also has excellent research skills and provides meaningful data that is accurately summarized and properly "dashboarded." Easy to get along with, hard working, and detail oriented--I have no doubt that Adrien will make a meaningful contribution wherever he goes or wherever his career takes him.

I oversaw the entire household product lineup which included laundry detergents, fabric softeners, hard surface cleaners, and dish detergents. This included working with foreign and domestic markets to develop product collateral, formulas, and packaging. My main objective was a complete overhaul of the existing household product lineup. The incumbent products had outdated formulas and lacked marketing claims inline with current consumer preferences. My team and I developed five product reformulations and three entirely new products as part of the overhaul. The results were products that had a unified message around safety for consumers and the environment while improving efficacy and claims. The packaging was changed to transparent bottles and labels capitalizing on packaging trends and tying back into the transparency theme of consumer's purchases. Everything for the products changed from formula efficacy and packaging to claims and collateral, energizing the entire product category.

I worked with brand managers in the conception and implementation of products. Much of this is centered around market research in determining appropriate pricing structures as well as broad market trends both domestic and foreign.
