-Led the conceptualization and adoption at a ministerial level of the initiative "Building Resilience in the SICA region under a synergistic approach between Mitigation and Adaptation focusing on the Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Uses Sector" (AFOLU 2040), aimed at restoring/conserving 10 million hectares of degraded lands and ecosystems by 2030 and to achieve carbon-neutrality in the AFOLU sector by 2040.Represented the Executive Secretary of the SE-CAC at international events/meetings such as COP25 in Madrid/Santiago.-Initiated a regional dialogue to promote the incorporation of the agriculture sector in the NDC updates of Central American countries.

Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management Consultant

-Evaluated the impacts of natural disasters and climate change (hurricanes, floods, volcanic eruptions) on natural assets and ecosystem services in LAC countries (Honduras, Guatemala, Guyana, the Bahamas, Sint Maarten, the British Virgin Islands, and Anguilla) as part of the Damage and Loss Assessment (DaLA) Team. -Led the resilient reconstruction chapter of DaLA reports, providing decision-makers with inputs for policy planning, especially for national recovery and reconstructions plans.-Designed a roadmap to introduce low emission technologies in the transport sector. The roadmap has been successfully adopted and implemented by the Government of Saint Lucia.-Conducted a technical assessment to determine the role of renewable energies and energy efficiency in enhancing the resilience to climate change in LAC with case studies from Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada.
