  I worked and collaborated to publish an article about the role of the complement system in glomerulonephritis, under the superivision of Prof. Seppo Meri. Also, I attended the proteomics laboratory of Prof. Marc Baumann at Biomedicum in Helsinki, where I studied the Alzheimer disease pathology, focusing on the role of APP and protein misfolding. I worked and collaborated to publish an article about the role of the complement system in glomerulonephritis, under the superivision of Prof. Seppo Meri. I practiced basic research activities like FACS analysis, T cell proliferation, production of ROS by neutrophils, ELISA, Thioglycolate-elicited peritoneal cell analysis, separation of leukocytes from Buffy Coats and analysis of NK cells.I also learnt about the importance of collaboration, organization and work ethics.
