  I've been around trucks and machinery all my life. I went to Garbally College boarding school,while there I became part of the stage crew every year building sets and operating lighting equipment and stage manager for the yearly plays. I operatored the school tractor cutting the school and house grounds. I worked on the farm on the property which was out of bounds but I ignored,eventually they let me be. I got to learn about farming and operating the machinery. My grandfather PJ Walls wanted me to do a trade. Loved going to the yard working their on my school holidays, some great staff in the yard, learned to operate machinery crawler cranes.Done my apprenticeship in HGV's. He was delighted. Sarted in CP Commercials from the age of 16 in and out of school and served my time then ended up driving the recovery trucks for Peter Costello (God rest him)from the age of 21 while working for him and working else where. I was one of 12 people who got to do a Masters in Heavy Recovery. We've known other the last 30 years he was a good boss and friend. I got alot of experience working for him getting to operate all sorts of vehicles from cars,buses,concrete pumps,mobile cranes, truck mounted cranes, track machines ,dozers machinery of all types recovery trucks ,lowloaders. I've worked along side accidents with other operators between Ireland and UK. The Gardai, emergency services and state bodies. I operatored the recovery vehicles as if they were my own, created alot of customers over the years.I've done some fantastic jobs over the years doing recovery had alot of satisfied customers and operators. I've worked in transport for James Adams Transport for 4 years. I still find recovery work while working here on my spare time.Moved back to PC Commercials for a year then moved to Argent Equipment to be Commercial Vehicle Tester. I've have now moved to Renault Trucks Ireland to operate their lowloader moving new and second hand vehicles, Sales Logistics and Solutions. Show less
