Task was to renovate the hotel and work with the unions on a restructuring program in order to turn around the hotel, this was deemed at the time one of the most difficult hotels to operate in the company. Achievements This was done successfully and the hotel was re-energized and positioned as the leading hotel on the Island with many themed events improving customer satisfaction. Team from the hotel learnt Italian and consequently won a cruise ship contract of 80 rooms per for night for 45 weeks a year.
