Mentored two interns on conducting research on self-supervised pre-traininng of convolutional neural networks for document images. The research concluded with the publication of a paper at a top conference in Document Processing - Implemented a multi-modal segmentation model based on visual features and character embeddings for attribute extraction in document images. - Implemented natural language processing models for ranking news articles.
