• Balancing cash; counted and totaled receipts from the stores’ daily debit and credit transactions; provided reconciliations for other cashiers; served and helped customers locate their products; and organized stock.• To ease the challenge of training customer service representatives, I designed an assistance sheet that laid out all the processes and rules of signing in and out of the computers. This process also included how to ring transactions through the register, stemming from product scanning and identification to type of transaction used by the customer (such as Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash or Cheque), as well as cashing out and preparing the paperwork associated with the transactions. This helped to make the training process of new customer service representatives much easier, as this reduced the number of questions needing be asked and helped as a guideline in order to be able repeat the process. In addition, it also increased the efficiency of serving customers through the tills.
