On Saturday June 11th and Sunday June 12th we will walk 24 hours in the Vondelpark to raise awareness and money to cool down our planet. Together with Justdiggit we want to raise EUR 75.000 to regreen parts of Africa. By regreening our planet we are able to reduce our carbon footprint, create local jobs and cool down our planet.   After seeing the terrible images from camp Moria I set up the charity event 24Lesbos with NGO's Movement on the Ground and KLABU. Together with 3 friends we walked 24 hours straight in "The Vondelpark" without sleeping or stopping, to raise money to build a KLABU Clubhouse at Lesbos. A KLABU Clubhouse connects refugees through sports and games and can serve up to 10.000 refugees. In the midst of COVID, with only 5 weeks of preparation, we completed the 24 hours, had over 250 people join us during our day and we raised over EUR 30.000,-,.
