I developed the concept of sustainable urban development in Kazakh cities. This year I and the team developed concept development plans for: - a small town - Aqkol; - a city with 363k inhabitants - Pavlodar; - a city with 365k inhabitants - Atyrau; - a project of road deaths reduction - Vision Zero Pavlodar. Now I am a manager of the UNICEF project: inclusive playgrounds for children with chronic diseases. I developed the concept of sustainable urban development in Kazakh cities. I was working as an urban planner and designer. During 9 months I developed 3 projects: 1. Site analysis of Sattarkhanov avenue - I did the analysis during the pandemic times. So, my analysis was based on existing urban design, and my site observation. To be honest, I was walking alone along the street. 2. Pocket park - I developed the concept design, using the unusual approach for Kazakhstan - participatory design. 3. Timurid's garden - I and my colleagues developed a concept of the historical loop which surrounds the UNESCO historical and architectural heritage - Ahmed Yassawi mausoleum. My part was the creation of a linear park with a concept of the Timurids era (XIV - XVI). Show less

I was one of the authors of the Vision Zero Almaty project, then became the head of the department that aimed to implement the project in Almaty. Also, I and the team did an analysis of business and production processes in the company. "Almatyelectrotrans" LTD is the main public transport operator in Almaty, which operates almost 65% of all transportation. JSC “Almaty Development Center“ is a department in the local government of Almaty. The Urban Studies Department consults and develops projects dealing with public areas and infrastructure in Almaty. The department considers cases regarding development of urban planning and smart infrastructure. I worked as an unpaid intern for three months until I was promoted to a full-time employee. I have done projects related to analyses of the city, such as exploring the busiest parts of the city and offering a polycentric model of Almaty to be developed in the near future and analysing existing bike lanes and the current situation regarding cycling in Almaty. I planned, designed and finalised the currently circulated tourist map of Almaty. I was a member of the committee that worked on a new transport system in Almaty. For the last year, I was part of the team that consulted projects from planning stages to the final realization of eight new pedestrian streets. By the end of 2017, my colleagues and I had been working on the “Basic principles of public spaces organization” guidelines. Also, I have experience in working with government personnel as well as the public. I am the responsible manager for all new interns in the Urban Studies Department. Throughout my work in ADC, I gained knowledge in sustainable urban planning. The ability to understand people’s behavior, site analysis and making the most convenient decision for everyone are the most important skills that I acquired. My strongest skills are generating ideas and solving problems in critical situations and under tight deadlines. Show less
