Adi's leadership has been instrumental in establishing the Babson General Management Club as one of the most active and popular clubs on campus. Adi's vision and thoroughness has been the primary reason that the club has been able to host a range of events pertinent to the clubs mission. Specifically, Adi's ability to motivate the other club leaders has been impressive. I highly recommend Adi for any managerial/leadership roles.

    • Deputy Commissioner- Energy Resources Division, Minnesota Department of Commerce
      • May 2020 - Dec 2021

I had the privilege of leading a team of 80+ staff at the Energy Resources Division for Minnesota Department of Commerce. I also served as the action team lead for Power Generation and Buildings sector for Governor Walz’s Climate Change Sub-Cabinet. The Energy Resources Division at Commerce achieved several important goals during my tenure. A few highlights include putting forth a plan to achieve 100% carbon free electricity by 2040 that made it to Governor’s Clean Energy Package in 2021, passing Energy Conservation and Optimization (ECO) and natural gas innovation act (NGIA) that puts Minnesota on a path to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions from the thermal sector, securing renewable development account (RDA) funding for hydrogen generation, saving Minnesotans significant money through the rate case work, and publishing a comprehensive quadrennial energy report in 2021. The foundational activity that made all of this possible was to build and sustain a big-tent coalition for energy transition in the state including state agencies, labor, clean energy advocates, and utilities.
