Responsible for assisting plant shift personnel in troubleshooting and de-bottlenecking of assigned plant operations and related equipment. Includes coordinating all assigned plant activities related to shutdowns/start-up and daily operation with all concerned department personnel. Coordinates with all concerned department personnel to implement modifications and repairs of equipment in the assigned Plant. Includes reviewing Request for Engineering design packages for operability, functionality and safety. Coordinates operations activities in support of installation and repairs of equipment and makes necessary changes to operating procedures, records and drawing files. Troubleshoots plant operations and related equipment. Includes identifying the problem source and its effect, evaluating alternatives and suggesting solutions to Shift Supervisors and coordinating involvement of plant Process Engineers as required to assist in problem solving.Reviews assigned plant operating data (Shift Supervisor Log, Operators Log and Computer Screen Displays). Analyzes data to determine potential problems to improve the plant operation optimization and reliability. Plans and coordinates assigned Plant activities prior to, during and after any shutdown. Includes processing all work notifications that requires Engineering input, Equipment/shutdowns, reviewing notifications status once per week with Plant Engineering section personnel and Maintenance Coordinators, Maintaining a log of shutdown / notifications, publishing list of shutdown notifications, maintaining an active Engineering notifications and distributing the same among assigned plant supervisory personnel.
