I work as an assistant manager with eight members for the assembling division in a factory that produces car air conditioners in Cikarang, west java. This company is one of Toyota industries coorporation Japan overseas. There are three goals of this division, namely: improve the ongoing process of assembling, finding the solution for engine breakdown cases, and maintain the process of engine production. The project that I am handing right now aims to achieve three goals. First, I have to guarantee the product has the best quality with zero customer claims both zero kilometers and warranty claims. Second, to reduce the cost of the production process, I have to make sure every operator in their different areas contributes in effective ways. Their responsibilities have to be evaluated gradually. Third, as the technology grows so fast, it gives a positive impact on how to develop big data as a tool to press the material cost inventory. Reducing 32 manpower with automation and developing detect jumping process in two years is an unforgettable achievement for me personally. I have also expanded robotic integration and camera as the one and the only improvement that has ever been done in TICO overseas. In three years, the special-purpose machine maker has already been totally done in Indonesia with a cost reduction of 40 percent as it was produced in Japan previously. Show less
