  Chai4ever provides families with dedicated home support to help maintain routines and offer children and spouses the chance to survive the devastation of a parent’s /spouse’s illness. When a parent is ill and has children at home, the disruption can be major and long lasting. Children come home after school to an ill parent or caretaker who may not be able meet their physical and emotional needs, no matter how much she or he wants to. The family could lose its breadwinner or the home support that keeps children and parents together, leaving the spouse and children to figure out how to pick up the pieces. Our family-centric approach focuses on maintaining the cohesiveness of the family structure. We do everything possible to ensure that the sick parent returns home to a healthy, normal family.
