• Working as HSE Officer of Pakistan Oil fields limited.. • Development of HSE Management System procedure and documentation as per PDCA concept of OHSAS18001 & ISO- 14001 with regular feedback from the line departments. • Planning and execution of detailed safety inspection/ audits of all field locations, facilities, equipment and working practices. Ensures that Company’s safety policies and procedures are adhered to, highlights violations, and recommends changes to existing practices • Investigation of accidents/incidents, determines root causes and measures necessary to prevent a recurrence in line with the Company's accident investigation and reporting procedure. • Development and execution of regular emergency response training programs both in class and emergency response drills to all field and drilling sites based personnel according to Company training schedules. • Developed emergency response procedures based on different emergency scenarios. • Planning and supervision of the regular inspection and testing of all fixed firefighting equipment e.g. fire pumps, mains, trucks, extinguishers, hoses and fire protection/detection systems and other auxiliary equipment such as SCBA, SABA, Cascade System, (fixed and portable) gas monitoring system. • Participation in setting the specifications and descriptions of new fire equipment/systems to be ordered and supervises their installation and commissioning. • Collects, and prepares data for the monthly safety progress report and statistics on all field safety matters. • Responsible for implementation of “PTW” system. • Formulated HSE inspection checklists to meet requirements. • Formulated HSE induction programs at Rig site for all visitors and service companies. • Participate in Risk Assessment preparation and ensure recommended safeguards are implemented and performing teams are in full awareness and adhering to the risk assessment terms & conditions Show less
