Auction Manager
-
Sep 2011 - Sep 2016
As Auction Manager I superintended the operation of twenty-five auctions per year and oversaw the complex operations of an international antique auction house. My duties included: managing auction staff, creating auction schedules, and providing customer service for approximately 3,500 international and domestic clients per year; overseeing financial transactions of approximately 3.5 million dollars annually and developing yearly budgets for business operations; managing online auctions, as well as website maintenance and development; and scheduling, developing and researching marketing strategies. During my time at Maynards I created and maintained a social media presence utilizing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest to expand our clientele and market impact. I have also consistently employed technology and computer programming to further develop Maynards business and functionality. Show less

I administered the CASV Emerging Artist Prize which included website maintenance, writing and sending press releases, being the media contact and artist liaison, and coordination of art installation. With this position I gained skills in Wordpress, HTML, media relations, conducting surveys and community outreach. I was fortunate to work with several of Canada’s prominent artists and some of Vancouver’s leading arts professionals. Show less
