  • Assigned to the Data Migration and Virtualization team. • Purpose was to migrate data from old servers onto new servers using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. • Was introduced to Citrix, a technology used to create as much as 150-200 virtual servers for virtual hosting during migration of data and accessing of data, which is highly secure, less costly and promotes more efficiency when attending to organization requirements. • Greater insight into the importance of data replication in the event of a failure with primary servers where I was tasked to configure and set up domain servers, DHCP and DNS connections as well as ping networks on both servers such that when data is created on one server, it is automatically replicated onto other server. • Had the opportunity to also carry out memory upgrades on servers through installation of RAM and disks.
