RapidRacking is a B2B Storage supplier part of the Manutan Group of companies. When I joined them as Web-designer it was to create web-banners, help with the content and art-working images for use online and in print. This role expanded to creating html marketing emails for both Rapid Racking and Shelfsave (which was an in-house brand) and landing pages, focusing on brand awareness and promoting specialized product ranges. I also became involved with creating and managing email-campaigns from setup to execution, and taking a larger role with regard to SEO. Because of my diverse interests and skill range I also created illustrations for various campaigns, Rapid-Ed a character used to promote storage supplies to educational institutions. This included various logos, branding and promotional material associated with it. Inn2gether also sponsored the Bury Football club and I designed the match material and programs. Inn2together was also launching a sister company Eminence Inns, for which I created the branding strategy. During my two and a half years at the College I taught Graphic Design, Design Principals, Two Dimensional Design, Packaging and Basic Computer Skills to multi-cultural people ranging from the ages of 16 to 64 and coming from a very diverse background. I taught the students from entry level (N2) to exit level (N6). I designed the projects that they had to complete and assessed them through out the year, in preparation for their external moderation at six monthly intervals after which they’ll progress to the next level.
