Timmy Global Health is an organization that works to expand access to healthcare and fight global health disparities. Serving as the VP, I help members find opportunities within our chapter to involve themselves in our local community. Serving as trip leader, I organize Butler University's annual trip to Guatemala for the chapter's medical brigade by choosing and educating the individuals that will attend the trip as well as coordinating with our partner, Pop Wujj, in Guatemala. The medical brigade trip requires work year-round to raise the essential money and vitamins to take to Guatemala as well as to reach out to medical professionals to attend the trip with our chapter. Our trip to Guatemala is the biggest event of our year and requires year-long responsibility, attention to detail, diligence, and leadership.

Apr 2015 - Present
As the Diversity and Inclusion Liaison for the SGA Marketing and Communications board, I am responsible for coordinating between the Diversity and Inclusion Board and the SGA board. I attend weekly meetings for the DIB board and present updates and ongoing topics to and from the SGA board, biweekly. I attend all events for the Diversity and Inclusion board and provide live updates through various social media portals as well as market and advertise the events priorly. I develop new marketing concepts for various special events that the Diversity and Inclusion board have within the school year and execute them by utilizing the abundance of skill sets that are on the SGA Marketing and Communications board. Utilizing my organizational skills and effective communication, I develop a relationship between both the SGA board and the Diversity and Inclusion Board, helping both brands achieve a stronger and more recognizable brand amongst campus.

Real Business Experience is a class at Butler University where students create and manage their own business. Hampton Hampers was a marketing and distributing company that my team and I created that worked as a partner with the already existing business of Caddy Concepts. Our product was a suitcase-style hamper with a retractable handle and wheels that eased the dire chore of laundry. As CMO for Hampton Hampers, I organized various promotional and selling events on Butler's campus and carried out effective social interactions with customers describing what our product was and why it would be a great asset to their lifestyles. I also maintained our social media accounts of Facebook and Instagram which played an essential component in our effective marketing strategy. I assisted my team in creating presentations and financial and marketing plans to present for the class, leading our company to a successful semester in the Real Business Experience at Butler University.
