      Camp Bizsmart is a competitive program that allows students with a passion for business to challenge themselves in a real world situation. I worked in a team as the CFO, while we created a bionic suite to help people with joint/mobility problems be able to walk around with ease. We worked with Ekso Bionics, Venture Capitalists, Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs, and graphic designers. I worked really closely with our CEO to help him manage our team and keep us on schedule and organized so we would finish in time with an impressive proposal to the Venture Capitalists. We created our product by researching the demand for products like ours, checking out the competition, picking our price point to be profitable and competitive, and knowing our target market. The camp had many workshops throughout the two weeks that helped us work better as a team and more efficiently. We also learned more about the business world and how to be successful in it. We visited companies in the Silicon Valley and talked to many people attending or teaching at Stanford University. At the end of the program, we had a finished product and pitched our idea to the Venture Capitalists. I was specifically praised for being able to answer many tough questions that they had for our product flawlessly after the pitch. Overall I found my passion for business, specifically finance and management, through this amazing opportunity and learned so many skills that help me now work better in a team and stay focused even in high pressure situations with a near deadline.
