JoAna Barela

Considering Aguie's dedication to his extracurricular activities, including Kappa Sigma, he always found plentiful time to dedicate to and excel in school, a trait he consistantly displayed before he began his college career.

Vanessa Barela, MEd

Agustin was the resident assistant during the Summer of 2011 of Upward Bound Math and Science. He was able to consistently help out students in his care with their homework for various classes and ensured that homework was completed before any fun activities were able to start. Agustin also made sure that any students whom had not completed their homework assignments for the week did the appropriate detention assignment given to them. He also went above and beyond his responsibilities as an RA. He was present during the final BBQ where he cooked food for every student and their families. While Agustin was an RA he organized activities for the students to participate in like paintball and pool parties. Agustin was the most responsible RA I have ever come into contact with and appreciated all of his help with the students.
