      During my time with Thursday Island Regional Council- Engineering Services Team, I was in charge of the NDRRA (Natural Disaster Relief Rearrangement and Authority) projects. It is government funded to maintain and repair all damaged infrastructure such as Ports, Seawalls, Roads, Culverts and Airport that was damaged due to natural disasters around the Torres Strait Islands. My role included scheduling, planning and scoping works for the NDRRA Civil Construction crew and also get hands-on practical experience being on site with them.
