I was the supervisor for the morning shift in the back of house. When I first started we were in the process of getting ready to open the restaurant. I had to assist with training 50 line and prep cooks, as well as getting everything ready for opening day. Daily duties included being the first person to come in in the morning and setting the kitchen up for the service of the day shift. Prepping anything that may be time consuming. Also creating and unloading orders of food we might need for the day or next few days 3 times a week. Any issues that my cooks my be having I would handle as well, up to and including disciplinary action for misconduct. Show less

I took calls for Verizon. I was a tech coach, so essentially the warranty department. Any time a customer would have an issue with their phone, or any device on the Verizon network, I would troubleshoot and try to fix the device. If I was unable to fix the issue at hand after completing a reset of the device, I would send out a certified like new replacement at no cost to the customer. Our monthly statistics would be based on call handle time, percentage of calls transferred, surveys taken, the results of the surveys, and we would have to have customers install the tech coach app so they can reach us in the future on any device it was possible to install on Show less

As an electronics and photo associate helping customers was the number one priority. I would help them get ink, video games and game systems, TVs, or any other high priced items that were locked or in the back. Next would be working the photo counter. Duties of the photo counter are, assisting with prints from customers phones, taking and printing passport photos, and printing and assembling posters or canvas'. The last duties would include stocking the department and cleaning as well. As an electronics and photo associate helping customers was the number one priority. My first job was for my dad and his bar and restaurant. I started out washing dishes and cleaning tables. After a little while went on working in the kitchen doing all the prepping and cooking for the dinner service. After working in the kitchen I went on to working as a bar back, cleaning glasses and the area around the bar. Once I turned 16 for the lunch shift and during the summer I would serve tables and if need be have someone of age run the alcohol to the table My first job was for my dad and his bar and restaurant.
