Kyle Herron
Adam managed to dial up the handsome on a photo shoot for my LinkedIn profile and portfolio website. He also moved mountains to produce a short film to promote my copywriting business on a very tight budget. I can’t recommend him enough for photography and cinematography projects.
Dennise Y.
Our team commissioned Life Capture to develop a corporate video on a fairly tight timeline and they exceeded all of our expectations. We were impressed by Adam and his team's warmth, professionalism and dedication to their craft. They remained communicative and supportive from conception to post-production by coaching our team through our expectations, and providing us the necessary information (and patience!) as we worked out the details of what we needed. Thank you Adam - we look forward to future collaborations!

I had the opportunity to work with Adam at "The Gathering", a coveted marketing conference held in Banff, Alberta. We were both filming at the event. Adam was both technically sound, and creative to his approach to filming the event. We worked really well together and I found Adam to be very approachable and open to discussion. His contributions, and suggestions elevated my own work. I would definitely work with Adam again and I hope we get that opportunity in the future.

LivingWorks Vision: A life-affirming, suicide-safer world. LivingWorks Mission: Saving Lives through the creation, development, and delivery of innovative training experiences that empower organizations, communities, and individuals to be safer from suicide. At LivingWorks my primary role is producing new photographic and video media assets. Finally, I am also tasked with organizing and cataloguing all video and photo assets old and new. I believe the work we do at LivingWorks makes a fundamental impact on the world and I’m proud to be a part of the team. Show less

Sr. Photographer/Videographer

Oct 2012 - Jan 2015
I led a team of photographers, videographers, and editors in producing high quality photo, video, and audio content to be used in various digital marketing products produced at WestJet, both internal and external. In my role as Sr. Photographer/Videographer I helped produce high quality videos (roughly 30-40 per year) from concept to completion for internal and external projects such as destination videos, profit share videos, leadership summit, culture connections, orientation, training, day-in-the-life videos, and others as requested by internal stakeholders. I would also produce high quality photographs from concept to completion for internal and external projects such as JetLines, Up! magazine, training courses, Westnet, advertising, WestJet.com, culture projects, digital signage, event collateral, annual report, EVP and VP headshots, team photos, and other internal communications. My pre-production responsibilities included brainstorming, scripting, storyboarding, pitching, planning, and scheduling. My production responsibilities included lighting setup, shooting with multiple cameras, hair & makeup, script supervision, and directing. My post-production responsibilities included footage ingestion/organization, editing video products all the way through to delivery, photo touchups, file organization of over 55,000 photos over 6 yearsAnother major responsibility I had was the inventory/upkeep of all WestJet audio/visual equipment and the WestJet Studio. This required organizing all of the assets in consistent locations so that everyone on the team knew where the equipment was located at any given time. The Studio required a fresh paint job using studio neutral grey paint, a prop room, and a sound booth. My years of aviation and media production experience helped me produce some of the greatest photos and videos at WestJet Airlines. Show less

Corporate Express Airlines was my father's company founded in the 1970s. It was a family run business for more than 30 years so you can say I've been a part of the company since 1982. I did anything from grooming the aircrafts to check-in duties and even flight attending. I left the family business to follow my passion for photography; funny that I now find myself working for one of the greatest airlines there's ever been doing what I love at the same time.
