My work at the Image X Institute focuses on a new approach to the tracking of tumours for image-guided radiotherapy. The accurate tracking of tumours during radiotherapy helps to improve the delivery of the radiation dose to the cancer while also reducing the toxicity to healthy tissue.I presented my research work at the American Association of Physicists in Medicine Annual Meeting held in Nashville in July 2018. My research has been published in a peer reviewed journal and was selected as the Editor's Choice. Show less

I completed research at the Image X Institute for my Summer Research Scholarship awarded by the Sydney Medical School. My research project focused on the development of a system that uses deep learning to detect and track markers that have been implanted in tumours. This system can be used for image-guided radiotherapy to improve the delivery of the radiation dose to the cancer and reduce the toxicity to healthy tissue.
