The Transnet Compact was used as a model for other State Owned Entities in the Department - Monitoring of the progress on the Transnet capital expenditure plans to ensure within budget and the required timelines and presentations to financial institutions - Development of a benchmarking model for Transnet - Assessment of tariffs submitted to the Ports and Pipelines Regulator - Assistance with the funding programmes of Transnet. (Domestic and Global Medium Term Note Programmes, liasons with the ratings agencies) - Deputy Director General from August 2013 to December 2013. Oversaw the AGM’s of both SAA and SA Express as well as the successful awarding of Guarantees to SAA and SA Express.
