TheGreenHub.ca was founded by veteran journalist Greg McMillan and myself as a resource for sustainable news, information, business, lifestyle, opinion and trends. My activity with TheGreenHub.ca centred around media production as well as technical and content development for the site. Working with Greg, we built an audience through online video, blogging, and social media along with traditional print media and broadcast television coverage. We saw excellent traffic growth to over 10K unique visits per month as well as community engagement through a 50+ instalment web series called This Really Old House Goes Green which followed the real-life story of a family renovating a WWII-era home to sustainable building standards.
