I have had the pleasure of dealing with Adam Halen of Better Staff when I was looking to change roles. Adam's philosophy, and that of Better Staff, is to sit down with potential candidates and "actually talk" to them to get a feel for who they are and what they want. This was a very welcome change to almost every other recruiter, who made me feel like I was on a conveyor belt to nowhere. I actually knew this was going to go somewhere, and Adam would only discuss qualified roles with me that we agreed on rather than anything that "just came up". One thing I clearly remember Adam saying is "I'll never put you in front of any employer who doesn't fit what you want or what they want", and he didn't. Adam was extremely professional, candid and helpful when discussing my background, as well as my future. His expertise helped me secure the role that I was looking for.
