  The fifth Major Release after the Change Program - delivered Superannuation Reform / Single Accounting System functionality into the core processing system (Mainframe, Windows Server .NET/SQL and WebSphere MQ) developed in the Change Program. I was the build technical architect / delivery lead.I was responsible for core work / resource planning and defining the build delivery approach and build team structure / reporting mechanisms. I also oversaw a fully implemented and automated work management and status report system in TFS, which was fully integrated with SharePoint designs and HP ALM defects. Other responsibilities included leading multiple teams to deliver development and test support across all environments, and work management.

• ATO Delivery Innovation (Accenture)

  Completed various assessments and innovation proposals for ATO including the following areas:- SAP SAAS Bid- Cloud Infrastructure- Service Delivery Automation (Infrastructure & Change Enablement)- Siebel (see below)For the Siebel Innovation, we completed an assessment, project proposal, plan and road-map to improve the development operations in the ATO CRM space. We made recommendations on how to setup more agile delivery practices in Siebel development including; build & deploy automation, work management, version control, packaging, infrastructure management, design documentation management and test automation.

• Major Release 3 - Unclaimed Super Money / Super Guarantee Release (Accenture)

  The third Major Release after the Change Program - delivered Unclaimed Super Money / Super Guarantee functionality into the core processing system (Mainframe, Windows Server .NET/SQL and WebSphere MQ) developed in the Change Program. I was responsible for the build development operations. We expanded the ATO test automation capability from ABR (see below) to include the core processing system. Other responsibilities included leading a team of 10 to deliver development and test support across all environments, and work management. I also oversaw the setup and transition to the Major Release 4 before moving on to the next project.

• Australian Business Register (Accenture)

  Redeveloped the web based Australian Business Register (ABR) system on a newer Microsoft Platform (.NET 3.5) as well as adding integration with ASIC (via web services) for the single form registration for trading names and business registration across all states. I was responsible for service delivery for project environment management, this included server provisioning, packaging, deployments, incident management, version control, merging/branching source code and work management in TFS. I was also responsible for a team of 5, supporting all levels of build and test, and developed an extensive test automation capability at ATO in the process.

• Major Release 1 - PAYG & FBT Instalments Release (Accenture)

  The first Major Release after the Change Program - delivered Instalments functionality for Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) into the core processing system (Mainframe, Windows Server .NET/SQL and WebSphere MQ) developed in the Change Program. I was responsible for service delivery for project environment management, this included packaging, deployments, incident management, version control, merging/branching source code and work management in TFS.

• Development Architecture Redesign (Accenture)

  Developed an automated build and deployment capability of software packages to development and testing environments for cross-project use at the Australian Taxation Office. Included strategy for packaging, version control, branching/merging, configuration management and orchestration. Platforms used included Mainframe (z/OS), Windows Server 2003, TFS 2008, IBM Rational BuildForge, .NET, powershell, vb scripting and SharePoint.
