To address one of the many problems plaguing our healthcare system, we built and accelerated the growth of the BEST Health System with a small core team. As a co-founding team member, I created the BEST business plan and initial proforma and pitched potential investors and doctors while building our core team. In addition, support our CEO while serving on the company's executive team as the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development. In this role, I oversaw the development of BEST from our initial idea through the startup. Provided executive oversight for ongoing investments, including facility construction and improvements. Managed tasks necessary to start a new ASC from early state discussions on location, specialty, regulatory requirement, equipment selection, and staff hiring. Collaborate with the leadership team to drive the organizational vision and operationalize the strategy. Oversaw day-to-day operations for our first ASC while our team built out our national roll-up M&A strategy. Co-Chaired our AAAHC & CMS committee. Successfully passed our AAAHC & CMS survey on our 1st attempt with a skeleton crew of only two other amazing teammates. Drove clinical and administration strategies. Responsible for Physician and clinical engagement across the enterprise. Work with onsite leadership to foster a highly inclusive culture, ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met. Work collaboratively with support departments to ensure the need of the centers and businesses are achieved. Support departments include IT, HR, Finance, Credentialing, Provider Enrollment, Revenue Cycle, and Development.
