Exhibition display and bespoke builds. Retail POS display, campaign Roll outs and pop up shops. I started work at Mardens directly from university employed as a Graphic Designer. In the course of employment my responsibilities have grown from that of designer to managing complete projects, within this role my current key responsibilities are:Initial client contact.Creating and managing bespoke projects from design to the final finished product. Planning & managing workflow both internally, and with externally purchased services.Control of materials and tools, ensuring the correct equipment is available for upcoming projects. Controlling all aspects of cost to ensure projects are delivered with budget. The company expanded into digital print which I helped facilitates. I became responsible for all print that went through the printer, this involved setting files up for printing, colour management and the final print, although the basic principles are the same for any type of printing, digital has it own set of problems and limitations as a result I have to learnt through trial and error. This has enabled me to be in a better position to advise clients in the right direction to reach their final goal. I have had training on both Roland and Mimaki printers.
