      Began in 2014 as Shelby County's first District Technology Integration Coach, and helped lead and organize the rollout of Shelby's 1:1 initiative of student Chromebooks. Became Digital Learning Coordinator in 2015. Duties include serving as liaison between Shelby's Student Achievement and IT teams, creating and leading edtech professional development for staff, managing district digital platforms as well as analyzing their usage, vetting new technology, and working closely with school librarians (in advocacy and training roles). Featured guest on episodes of TheatreCast (October 2015), Partial Credit Podcast (February 2020), and Writing Matters with Dr. Troy Hicks (August 2020). Creator and/or leading facilitator of two vodcast series for the district: "Shelby Speaks: Looking Forward" (spring 2020) and "Shelby Speaks: The Concurrency of our Classroom" (winter 2021). Began an innovative professional development conference model called Share Fair, first held in 2015 and has been held annually ever since. SOHS Theater Director for 2006-2007; staged productions of "The Glass Menagerie," "The Odd Couple" and "The Wizard of Oz." A literature circle podcast project with students led to mentions in several accolades, including a lead story for The Courier-Journal (1/21/2009), a mention in NCTE's international e-newsletter INBOX (February 2009), and the cover story for "Kentucky Teacher" (April 2009). Voted Teacher of the Year 2009-2010 by the SOHS faculty and staff. In 2011, founded the district organization OCTI (Oldham County Technology Initiative), a grass-roots effort to create, coordinate and lead edtech professional development for Oldham County staff. Co-leadership of OCTI continued until 2014. Featured in a WDRB-TV television broadcast and website article in August 2013 as a leading Oldham County edtech integrationist. Winner of two Pyramid Grants (2012 and 2014). The 2014 grant led to a "Star Wars Shakespeare" academic Core Content unit in English. This included a class Skype with a New York Times best selling author as well as various accolades, including having the unit materials archived online at the publisher's website and a mention in the international magazine "Star Wars Insider" (#156, April 2014).
