    • President of Revitalize Appalachia
      • Jun 2015 - Jun 2018

Acted as President of two social enterprises in West Virginia. One - Revitalize Appalachia, the construction enterprise that focused on sustainable construction and on the job training for unemployed or underemployed Appalachians. I held the General Contractors license for the entire organization and managed projects across 4 counties in Southern West Virginia, conducting and operating all business independently, while also serving as part of the larger Coalfield Development Organizations main management team. The second Enterprise - Rewire Appalachia, I acted as President for that arm of the organization as well, this enterprise focused on Solar installations and training in WV and across Appalachia. I oversaw the organization through over 25 installations across the state, on commercial property and personal residences. For both enterprises I organized and managed all paperwork, planning, budget creation and overall coordination throughout my tenure. While also working with the larger organization in strategic planning sessions, workforce development planning, personal development events and coordination, and in the creation of processes that affected multiple entities within the organization. Public relations, marketing, as well as public speaking in many different situations was a strong suit. I have spoken to groups of hundreds of people as well as created social media videos, and other information that was viewed by thousands. www.coalfield-development.orgwww.revitalizeappalachia.comwww.rewireappalachia.com
