I have an almost 3 year old son that is on the autism spectrum who is mostly non-verbal. He can speak but speaks mostly to himself and once he says a word, we rarely hear it again. He has regular speech appointments for the past year focused on helping him achieve his milestones. Things recently changed after we encountered the English Tree TV channel on youtube. Since my son is very interested in the ABCs, a few weeks ago, I chose the English Tree TV's song called the "ABC Alphabet Song, Acoustic." This song was a huge turn around for my son. He went from touching letters making small sounds to actually singing his ABCs. He sings along at the varying speeds throughout the song. Also, there are a bunch of other videos that he gravitates to watching as well. He especially likes the videos that are similar to candy crush game. Mr. Williams-Walters, you've opened a door for my son with ease through your videos that we have worked very hard on prying open through specialists, evaluations and every technique or method recommended. He now happily sings his abcs, calls out colors and shapes together with us. I applaud your work and ability to connect with children. Thank you!
