Kennel help with requirements of feeds, cleaning, and taking care of the boarding animals as well as making sure the on-staff vet knew of any current issues. I also worked in the tech room with the vet doing non-invasive procedures. Learned to conduct analysis tests on blood and urine as well as give shots and trim and cut nail. I was able to sit in on many surgeries as well. SImilar job as to Annehurst, I was a kennel help who feed, walked, cleaned, and looked after the daily boarders. I was also a vet assistant. With this position, I was able to meet with the client before the vet to get all the information the vet needed on what kind of medical treatment was needed. Here I also took analysis tests, recorded client information, gave vaccines, and clipped nails.
