I started with this company in their transportation department, analyzing and creating weekly reports and financial statements for different management teams. This included spending most of my time working in Excel, creating and updated spreadsheets for financial purposes. From there, I was promoted up to a key role in our Credit department as a financial analyst taking on many administrative roles including co-ordinating email, filing, legal registrations, and daily financial applications. In detail, this included, analyzing credit and various financial applications for both commercial and personal use across Canada. Investigating businesses (contacting both store owners and business reps). Registering PPSA’s (Personal Property Security Agreements), and preparing General Security Agreements in order to place liens with business and store owners. Integration of SAP software was a pivotal part of our ongoing training at the time. Show less
