I attended the SciTech Summer program in Haifa Israel located at the prestigious Technion University. My project was the Investigation Of Acidic Electro-Oxidation Of Hydrazine On A Metal-Free Carbon Catalyst. With my incredible mentor, Tomer Burshtein and my lab partners, Ayala Bernstein and Adam Avedissian, we had an incredible time, and experience at the Technion, where we investigated the use of a cheaper and more effective catalyst that may one day be used in Hydrazine fuel cells. During my time in the lab, I learnt many scientific techniques and methodologies which you could not learn in a school environment. Furthermore, I learnt how to correctly structure scientific posters and presentations and obtained important presentation skills that will benefit me throughout my career.
