Adam Ravestein and I were colleagues at EDSA. We worked together on several long-term projects during my first year at EDSA during which time he was always very helpful to me and pleasant to work with. Adam engages in his projects with technical expertise, artistic precision and creative insight. His graphics are beautiful. He is a take-charge person who is one step ahead of the thinking process. Deeply engaged in his career, he applies himself to the tasks at hand with positivity and enthusiasm. Adam is a team player, always there to assist a team member, easily approachable and a person who goes out of his way to interact with his colleagues. I highly recommend Adam and consider him a valuable asset to any design team.

Adam Ravestein and I were colleagues at EDSA. We have worked together on several projects; We also worked together to coordinate a very large multi-studio, multi-office project from concept to Design Development. My first impressions of Adam: his quick wit, outgoing, confident and capable. As a fellow colleague who started about the same time together I can say that he is one of the best overall talents I have come across. From concept graphics to construction details and then into project management Adam is tough to beat. Working with Adam I found that he is one of those guys who asks all the right questions and can identify the critical issues from the beginning. Without a doubt this ends up helping him be efficient and purposeful in the rest of his work. We all benefited from having Adam lead the coordination between sub-consultants and within our design teams.

My work focuses on park and open space design for colleges and universities. I'vebeen deeply involved on a wide variety of project types at every phase from concept planningto construction administration. As a landscape architect, I bring a thorough knowledge of plants and landscape construction techniques and a deep understanding of the way that people use landscapes.
