I worked with Adam for two years as his leader at Zenefits. Adam is proactive, reliable and adaptable in any situation. Adam is an exceptional problem solver, he is always looking for better more efficient ways to do things. As a process oriented person, I could always look to Adam to figure out a simpler, more effective way to achieve a goal. As a people manager, I found Adam to be a skilled communicator, mentor and a source of humor and inspiration for his team. Adam knows as a leader when it’s time to listen and when it's time to cajole in order to move the team forward. I had the great pleasure of working with Adam while we both worked at Zenefits. Adam wore many hats during his tenure on the Rocket Ship that contributed to his success and his team's success in many ways. As a member of the Implementation team, Adam was proactive in searching for solutions to help his clients have the best experience. He often encountered challenges, as you often do working for a start up rolling out new software, that required collaborating with other teams (Engineering, Ops, HR, etc.). He would work tirelessly to get answers quickly to his clients. He has passion for his clients, and his team members in all that he accomplishes. As a manager, Adam often sought out my advice, guidance and support in helping his team members grow in their careers. His enthusiasm for finding solutions, helping clients, supporting his team, is never ending. I enjoyed working with Adam very much.
