My role included typical office jobs such as filing, answering the phone and working closely with customers. I had a weekly tales target to meet whilst I was processing orders for the factory and creating quotations through a specific computer programme for pricing windows, doors and conservatories. I helped ensure relationships with customers were strong and efficient whilst attracting new potential customers. I asissted the sales manager and covered the managerial role for a week in the managers absence where I took charge of ordering supplies and ensuring the company ran smoothly as usual, dealing professionaly with any issues. After promotion I moved into a more supervisory role which entailed, overseeing manufacturing teams, quality control, goods in and goods out, distribution and loading of lorries, customer service and also some manufacturing processes. As a waiter in what was deemed a 5* Restuarant quality and customer service was at the heart of the role. I maintained efficiency whilst working under extreme pressure in a busy environment. Roles included room service, cleaning, perpetration and usual waiting skills. I was also aske to work on important functions such as Christmas and private parties, this was a big achievement to be asked to work in these events. Whilst sometimes taking charge of shifts and leading small groups of people I also had to work at the coffee bar handling cash. Show less
